SWAC TV’s postgame interview with Armond Parker was interrupted before he could answer the final question.
What happened
Reporter Symone Stanley interviewed Parker after Florida A&M beat Alabama State 28-27 on Friday.
Parker had a major game: he threw three touchdown passes, ran for another score, and finished with more than 400 total yards. Stanley asked him about his approach entering the game and what stood out about his team, and Parker answered those questions.
Then Stanley asked about coach Quinn Gray Sr. saying the team’s theme that week was soul-searching. Before Parker could respond, a coach pulled him away from the interview.
What viewers saw next
After Parker was pulled away, the broadcast cut to FAMU players heading toward the locker room.
The available context does not confirm what Parker would have said or why the coach ended the interview at that moment, so those parts should not be guessed.
