Which new games are being added to Xbox Game Pass in this October update?
Xbox Wire has confirmed another October update for Xbox Game Pass, and the main names in this batch are straightforward.
The confirmed new Xbox Game Pass additions
The titles listed in this October update include:
- Battlefield 6
- Valor Mortis
- Forever Ago
That is the confirmed list from the available Xbox Wire update. The same source also frames the announcement as a follow-up for players who have been spending time with Bravo Squad for Gears of War: E-Day or Minecraft Dungeons II.
What is not confirmed here
The provided context does not include release timing, platform details, pricing, edition differences, or whether each title arrives on every Game Pass tier.
Because Xbox Game Pass availability can change by region, tier, and date, the safest next step is to check the official Xbox Wire post or the Game Pass listing before making plans around a specific game.
What should Xbox Game Pass players check first if they are interested in Battlefield 6, Valor Mortis, or Forever Ago?
If Battlefield 6, Valor Mortis, or Forever Ago is the reason you are looking at this Xbox Game Pass update, start with the official listing for the specific game you care about.
Check the individual Game Pass listing first
Xbox Wire confirms that Battlefield 6, Valor Mortis, and Forever Ago are included in the October Game Pass update. But the provided information does not spell out the practical details players usually need before downloading or planning to play.
Look for these details on the official Xbox/Game Pass listing:
- Whether the game is available to you yet
- Which Game Pass tier or platform it appears under
- Any download, access, or availability notes shown on the listing
- Whether the listing has changed since the announcement
Why this matters
Game Pass announcements can name upcoming additions before every player-facing detail is easy to see in one place. The confirmed news here is that these titles are part of the update; the schedule and access specifics are not included in the provided context.
So for Battlefield 6 Game Pass, Valor Mortis Game Pass, or Forever Ago Game Pass details, treat Xbox Wire as the announcement source and the individual Game Pass page as the place to verify what you can actually access.
