![[New England Fishery Management Council; Public Meeting]: New England Fishery Management Council Notice: Federal Register Access and API Guidance](https://trendingissue.blog/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/pexels-13037706.jpg)
How can I access the New England Fishery Management Council public meeting notice if FederalRegister.gov blocks the page?
If the New England Fishery Management Council public meeting notice is blocked on FederalRegister.gov, the provided source does not give meeting details. It shows an access-control notice related to automated scraping.
What the notice says a user can do
The source says a user flagged as automated may complete a CAPTCHA to request access.
It also says repeat CAPTCHA prompts can occur as part of the site’s security process. So seeing the prompt more than once does not necessarily mean the meeting notice itself changed.
Where to go for access problems
The notice points users with CAPTCHA or IP-range issues to the Site Help option for IP Access Help.
The provided context does not include a phone number, email address, meeting time, agenda, or other details about the New England Fishery Management Council public meeting.
What to check next
Once access is restored, use the live Federal Register notice for the meeting information. Because the current source text is an access notice, it should not be treated as a summary of the meeting itself.
What should programmatic users use to retrieve Federal Register or eCFR information?
Programmatic users should use the developer APIs named in the notice, rather than trying to retrieve Federal Register or eCFR information through automated scraping.
The confirmed access route
The source says programmatic users should use the sites’ developer APIs:
- FederalRegister.gov developer API
- eCFR.gov developer API
That is the practical instruction confirmed by the access-control notice.
Why the page may block automated access
The notice is tied to automated scraping of FederalRegister.gov and eCFR.gov. It says users flagged as automated may be asked to complete a CAPTCHA, and that repeat prompts can occur as part of the site’s security process.
For automated systems, the API route is the one the notice points to.
What the source does not provide
The provided context does not include API endpoint details, authentication rules, rate limits, or code examples. It also does not describe the New England Fishery Management Council meeting itself.
Check the live developer API documentation for current technical details before changing a programmatic retrieval process.
