What roster move did the Packers make with Pierre Strong Jr.?
The confirmed move is simple: the Packers moved Pierre Strong Jr. from the practice squad to the active roster.
What changed?
Green Bay announced that Strong, a running back, was signed from the practice squad to the active roster. The announcement was credited to General Manager Brian Gutekunst.
The Packers described Strong as a fourth-year player from South Dakota State.
Was there another roster move?
Yes. Green Bay also added linebacker Jack Dingle to its practice squad. The team described Dingle as a rookie linebacker from Cincinnati who had previously been with the Bengals.
What is not confirmed?
The announcement confirms the roster move, but it does not say what role Strong will have, how much he will play, or what it means for the running back rotation.
Because roster information can change quickly, check the Packers’ official announcement for the most current status.
What should Packers fans watch after Pierre Strong Jr. was moved to the active roster?
Packers fans tracking the backfield should start with the confirmed roster change: Pierre Strong Jr. is now on Green Bay’s active roster after being moved up from the practice squad.
What to watch next
The practical thing to watch is whether the Packers announce any further running back depth moves or give more detail about Strong’s role.
For now, the official information confirms only the transaction itself. It does not confirm playing time, a game-day role, or any broader change to the offense.
The other move to note
Green Bay also added Jack Dingle to the practice squad. He is a rookie linebacker from Cincinnati, and the Packers said he had previously been with the Bengals.
That move is separate from Strong’s promotion, but it was part of the same roster announcement.
Bottom line
Pierre Strong Jr. is on the Packers’ active roster. Fans should follow the team’s official updates before assuming what the move means for Green Bay’s running back depth.
