When will the 2027 Honda Civic Type R reach dealers?
If you’re waiting to see the refreshed Civic Type R in person, Honda has given a short answer: it is scheduled to reach dealers this month.
Dealer timing
The 2027 Honda Civic Type R dealer arrival is expected this month, according to Honda’s announcement.
Honda did not provide a specific calendar date in the available information, so the practical takeaway is that shoppers should start checking with local Honda dealers now rather than waiting for a later model-year rollout.
What will be arriving
The model reaching dealers is the refreshed 2027 Civic Type R. Honda says it includes modest exterior updates, added standard technology, heated front seats, Google built-in, Google Gemini, and new interior trim details.
A new Meteorite Gray Metallic color is also available.
What to check before visiting a dealer
Availability can vary by dealer once a vehicle begins arriving. If you’re trying to see or reserve one, check directly with a local Honda dealer and compare that with Honda’s latest official announcement.
How much does the 2027 Honda Civic Type R start at?
The refreshed 2027 Civic Type R has a confirmed starting price: $49,990.
Starting price
The 2027 Honda Civic Type R price starts at $49,990.
That is the base starting figure given in the available context. It does not include any extra detail here about dealer fees, taxes, destination charges, accessories, or markups, so those should not be assumed from this announcement alone.
What comes with the refreshed model
For that starting price, Honda says the 2027 Civic Type R adds several updates, including:
- A more aggressive front fascia
- A new splitter and larger grille
- Optimized +R mode suspension damping
- Heated front seats
- More standard technology
- Google built-in and Google Gemini
- Premium Ultrasuede trim on the instrument panel and front door panels
- A new Meteorite Gray Metallic color option
Before comparing prices
If you’re shopping, treat $49,990 as the confirmed starting price from the announcement. For the exact transaction price at a specific dealer, check the latest Honda information and the dealer’s own listing.
What changed on the refreshed 2027 Honda Civic Type R?
Honda’s 2027 Civic Type R refresh is not a full redesign. The confirmed changes are focused on styling, cooling and downforce, suspension feel, cabin features, technology, and one new color.
Exterior and performance-related updates
The front end has been revised with a more aggressive fascia. Honda says the new splitter and larger grille are meant to support added downforce and better engine cooling.
Honda also says +R mode suspension damping has been optimized for cornering feel and body control.
Interior and technology changes
Inside, the refreshed 2027 Civic Type R adds heated front seats and more standard technology.
The model also gets Google built-in, Google Gemini, and premium Ultrasuede trim on the instrument panel and front door panels.
Color and availability
A new Meteorite Gray Metallic color is available.
Honda says the 2027 Civic Type R is scheduled to reach dealers this month, with a starting price of $49,990. Since dealer inventory can change quickly once arrivals begin, it’s worth checking Honda’s current announcement or a local dealer for the latest availability.
